My art of choice lately is photography and Photoshop editing. While I'd love to find time to get back to my studio, it seems that all I've had any time for over the past two months is family outings. This is Sophia...she is my GREAT niece and is about to turn one. She is a doll as you can see. She will let me take as many photos as I'd like of her, and if no one else were around...I think I could go on forever. Such a beautiful subject.
I'm starting to get a handle on using Photoshop CS4...and have learned some new techniques thanks to Gale, Amelia & Jackie. I just need to continue to play with it every night. Although my schedule is about to get even crazier, as I've agreed to Assistant Direct a community production of "Steel Magnolias". Am I crazy? You betcha!

Christy, you are amazing. Your art has really blossomed, and your photography is really good! This photo of Sophia is really beautiful.
I hope you are having a fab summer. Directing a play sounds really cool, I know it is a lot of work, but still, how fab is that!
